In 1993, Ty Warner Inc. introduced a little plush toy filled with plastic pellets (beans) and named the little critters Beanie Babies. The original animals included Legs the Frog, Squealer the Pig, Spot the Dog, Flash the Dolphin, Splash the Whale, Chocolate the Moose, Patti the Platypus, Brownie the Bear (later renamed "Cubbie"), and Punchers the Lobster (later renamed "Pinchers"). These cute little plush toys are still enjoyed today, although their popularity has waned since the early days. These are the Beanie Baby Bird plush toys.
